Brutus has been doing his initial shot rotation for his allergy shots for the past 2 months. Just to remind you of what were were doing, he had 3 bottles of serum. Bottle 1 is very diluted, bottle 2 less diluted and bottle 3 is full serum. Over the course of these 2 months, we have moved thru the course of shots for each bottle. Sometimes taking a step back, but mostly moving forward.
Today he took the full 1.0cc dose from bottle 3. If everything goes well over the next 2 days, we can then switch to weekly 1.0cc shots from full serum for the foreseeable future. Which will probably be the rest of his life.
For the next 6 months to a year, we will watch and wait to see exactly how effective shots will be for him. The ultimate goal is to get him off the Apoquel by next Spring. That would be amazing.
