Living with Brutus can sometimes be a struggle with all of his allergy issues and the things we have to do to keep him healthy.  From socks, to bathing, to laser treatments and different medications.  It is a roller coaster of things that are ever evolving.

Mastiffs apparently have issues with yeast and the dermatologist thinks his feet problems may be related to that.  With that in mind, we have stopped the laser treatment while we try an anti-fungal regimen to see if we can clear up his feet once and for all.  With treatments of duoxo spray twice a day and fluconazole medication, we seem to really be making a difference and things are really and truly clearing.

Could this be the end of this batch of yuck?  I don’t know, but I sure hope we are finally on the right track.

As for Brutus, he takes it all in stride.  As you can see from these photos, it is Brutus’ world and we are just lucky to live in it.  Gotta love cuddle time!
