This Christmas we put bells on our back door. Brutus began to hit them with his nose to hear them jingle. Of course, we make the mistake of deciding to let him out when he jingles the bell. We thought it would be cool if he learned to ring them for a reason.

A month later he is hitting the bell every time he wants to go out. Now this may sound great to you, but here lies the problem. He doesn’t just hit the bells when he needs to go out. Now he jingles them to go out every time he is bored.

So the dilemma is to keep the bells or not to keep the bells. What would you do?
